Between the beginning of December and mid-April the Middle Atlas is often covered with snow,
nevertheless with the climate change the altitude where snow holds tends to rise but snow showers are frequent
throughout this period above 1000m.
The ski slopes of Mischliffen offer very little interest but in snowy periods the area offers very beautiful
possibilities for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in wild open spaces or cedar tree forests but this requires
some precautions because there are no markings. It is preferable to bring your own equipment.
